At the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari will reveal a hybrid (…) version of the 599. Luca di Montezemolo said this during the presentation of the new 2010 Formula 1 car.

The two-seater designed by Pininfarina is expected to make use of a system that is based on the KERS for Formula 1 (kinetic energy recovery system, where energy is recovered from braking). There would also be a stop / start system like in almost every car nowadays. Ferrari claims that the Ferrari 599 Hybrid will be 35 percent more economic than the normal 599.

Well, at least it is not as ugly as e.g. a Toyota Prius.
