Submitted by Melle on January 20, 2010 – 6:02 pmNo Comment

The arrival of the Arash AF-10 has actually been known three years, but now finally pictures of the production model released. The car shown here, the British manufacturer to open the attack on the established order. That one there seriously is evident not only from a top speed of 330 km / h, but also the techniques that are incorporated in the AF10. Contrary to what the name suggests is using an eight-cylinder.

Corvette Z06
That LS7 V8 has a capacity of 7 liter is known from the Corvette Z06. Arash has looked in depth and eventually managed to get 550 hp. The almost 650 Nm at 4,800 rpm pull that is released through a manual speed gearbox to the rear wheels. Then tires are also in the size 335/30ZR20, while the front axle was chosen 265/35ZR19.

Eight pistons
The AP Racing brakes are equally impressive with ceramic discs and copies of 38 inches by 36.2 inches of rear. The front discs are contained by claws with eight pistons, and two rear pistons count less.

Seventy copies
These brakes also do not particularly high weight to slow, because the AF-10 is reportedly no more than 1,200 pounds to weigh. The bodywork is purpose built largely of carbon, which also applies to the chassis. Just like the Enzo Ferrari of the AF-10 which also looks suspiciously like.

Kitcar?
The above techniques show that Arash is definitely not glorified kitcar manufacturer. In total, there are seventy copies of the AF-10 are produced. At later time looking at not only a model of the car shown here, but also a variant with significantly more power.
