Pagani Zonda successor will be smaller

Submitted by Melle on January 25, 2010 – 4:27 pmNo Comment

The new Pagani supercar is a car that will be –according to Pagani- a worthy successor to the remarkable  Zonda, which production will end in September. Then the production of the successor begins so it can be presented at the end of this year.

700 hp, 1000 Nm
Pagani revealed that the new car will be equipped with a Mercedes-Benz, AMG developed 6.0 liters V12 engine with two turbos which probably has around 700 bhp and around 1000 Nm of torque. That is slightly less than the capacity of the fastest Zonda (R), but not really bad to start with.

The new car will look like the Zonda, but has more compact dimensions and the body is completely new. There are over 3700 new parts, including a completely new carbon / titanium chassis. The price before tax in Europe will be approximately  850,000 euros. The new car will be manufactured in a new plant with a capacity of 60 cars per year instead of the current 16.
